I can captivate your waning attention. I can sing you a ballad and etch one on your skin. So you claim everlasting devotion. My heart bends in complete adoration. So you think you’re worthy. And when you close your eyes at night, Don’t forget to reach out To touch the swirling stars and to caress the moon. Don’t forget to feel the darkness, For all the tears I have drained for you Because that is how you will know, That I’m waiting for the dawn until we’re in bloom.
