You Are Not Alone

I know that I don’t really know you
but I wanted to remind you that there’s beauty within you
and I’ll try to show you

Maybe it was lost somewhere within the rain
and I hope these words can be an umbrella to your pain

It’s so insane, to wonder which roads we should go down
or where they may lead
Most of us don’t even know why
bumps in these roads are something we may need

We believe, that life would be better
if those times we could be without
but finding strength through the week
is what life’s all about

I know you’re strong
strong enough to know that this won’t last too long
now with the old view gone
the one you never chose to let go
you still try to hold on

but it moves away and you chase it
it’s like you’re moving through the waves
as it knocks you back when the water and your face hit
still you try to find your way as you move through the mazes
lost in dark places still hoping that you make it

Hoping to find it again
while thinking that you need it to get back on track
but it’s like the journey never ends
and the stress only stacks

You aren’t the only one that’s ever been through that
there’s many like you to be there and have your back

They’ll be those shoulders you need to cry on
and that comfortable bed that you can lie on

They’ll be there to place the covers over you and tuck you in
so when you wake up tomorrow
you’ll never have to worry about it again
Although we may seem like ghosts
just know that these Caspers are your friends

We make it our mission
to help you through the times
where you want the one you’re missin’
right there to listen
especially when you feel like you’re the only one
in this world that we live in

And when you think the pain becomes unbearable
we show up and are right there to take care of you

So keep your head up
love is like a phoenix
when it burns to ashes it only comes back stronger
the next time that you see it

So when your broken heart sends our the sirens
just know
that your beauty is a light that darkness can never silence
