0 Silent Refrain

Loneliness has a strange beauty
turning all the little things around it more beautiful
it puts a special burn on sunsets
makes the night air taste sweeter
makes the stars shine brighter
and makes them sing
but only you can hear them

it creates a symphony of silence
a chorus of quiet voices
reverberating through our hearts
singing what is really felt
the sounds of our unique music
only you can hear them

Loneliness doesn't make me sad
it helps me to sing and laugh
despite the tears threatening to overflow
i deal with the pain
with open arms and heart
but the bravery to keep singing
to keep moving forward
even when the tears won't stop
only you have it

stand up taller
and sing out with stronger voices than before
our songs intertwining like fate
swirl into each other
and piece together a new song
the echoing colors of our silent refrain
