OUR BEAUTIFUL WORLD

A grain of sand in the burning desert,
A blade of grass in the flowering meadows,
A boulder to fall, with nothing to hurt,
A pretty flower, boasting its pedals.
A single drop of water in the sea,
A hummingbird; a branch beneath its feet,
A tasteful fruit as ripe as ripe can be,
A flake of snow upon a mountain's peak.

...Thoughts of nature and space,
thoughts concerning our minds,
the world's a beautiful place,
before the birth of mankind.
