Lullaby

It's late, my love
The world's asleep.

It's time for you
To count some sheep.

The sun is down,
The moon is here

It's time for you
To sleep my dear.

Tomorrow will come
With good news for us

I'll be right here,
So do not fuss.

Close your eyes
And sleep, my love.

Our bed beneath,
Our sky above.

This world was made
For us alone.

So let us sleep,
On our soft throne.

The world is quiet,
The day is done.

Sweet dreams my love,
My only one.
