I don’t want to get out of bed
“Get ready for school,” my mother said.
I don’t want to go down stairs
I have to find my other pairs
I don’t want to go to school
No friends there and that’s not cool
I don’t want to ride the bus
It’s my ride, so I must
I don’t want to listen in class
If I don’t I won’t pass
I don’t want to go straight home
I can’t call, I have no phone
I don’t want to do my chore
If I don’t I can’t play no more
I don’t want to do anything
Ill get so bored that have to sing
I’ll look back on today, when I go to bed.
I’ll probably want to do things instead.
