Today we come to celebrate a blessing in our lives.
The blessing that now, you are husband and wife.
It’s hard to put into words just how happy I am for you
But know that I support you, I truly do.

I have just a few words for you both
Let me start off by saying “I’m happy,” I hope you know.
Our family and friends gather to wish you well
Your love is shining so bright, each one of us could tell.
We are here to encourage you to live life to the fullest and have fun
We are here to help you raise your future daughters and sons.
Look to us for advice; look to us for support
So many people love you both, that you can always be sure.

Your lives will change as you grow older,
But hold on to each other, that will make you bolder.
Life is not easy. You will go through happiness and pain,
Keep in mind that there is always a rainbow after the rain.

Walk this journey through life hand in hand,
Reach the goals you’ll set and always have a plan.
I promise you, you will face hardship,
But I also promise you, if you work together, you’ll get through it.

You’ve seen me struggle, and you know I have prevailed
So I stand before you to say, “Don’t let one another fail.”
You are each other’s best friend,
So hold on to your promises ‘til the very end.
When all else seems to fail, look at your rings and say,
“I still love you and am committed to you each and every day.”

So let me end with this…..You know you have a guardian angel
He smiles upon you every day.
When you need advice, just remember what he would say.
“My daughter, I love you with all my heart,
And I give you away today with my blessing….this is your start.”
