Divergent

Red rose so young
Do you not know what you have done?

To bloom at first autumn's wind
When all else await the spring
What good is that?

Now against the pure white snow
Must you stand out so much?
Was autumn not enough?

But now frozen are your petals
And the raindrops that mimic tears
What will happen now?

When the ice thaws out
Will you wither?
Will you die?

Or will you go on to see spring?
And in summer?
Will you burn?

Red rose so young
You know not what you have done
To go against mother,

Is a sin
